OK for the price. However, the frets are not cleanly rounded, meaning they have slightly sharp edges, which is not very pleasant to play. Unfortunately, the string action and fret clarity are very poorly adjusted at the factory. I have seen other manufacturers in the same price range do this much better. Visually, however, it is an eye-catcher (I at least like the matte, wine-red finish) and I like the sound. All in all, a bass that is suitable for an ambitious craftsman who is looking for a pretty, attractive model for little money. However, if you are not familiar with instrument settings and would need to consult a specialist, it is better to leave it alone, otherwise it can be really expensive.
