The banjo actually has a pretty good sound for being lightened by the tone ring. But it is quite enough for a beginner to wear. The diaphragm is also fairly well stretched and has a satisfying sound. The only thing I can fault so far is the storage. The banjo arrived with the bridge in place, which now needs to be centered.
