at the end of the day: a brilliant sound in top quality and tonality. BUT be very carefull ! No installation guide, not even on the LR Baggs website. Cutting a big hole into a guitar is rather tricky esp. when the figures on the template are not exact. AND : the thread of the external connector is too short. I had to leave the nut (conter) or to sand down the wood block within my guitar. Installation is only for real professionels !

After a lot of back and forth, the Anthem SP replaced the Anthem SL in a high-quality Saz. The desired stronger output was not achieved, hence one star deduction. However, the balance between pickup and TruMic can be set much more precisely and the overall dynamics are also completely different. In future, fine-tuning will probably be done with the Align Session and the finishing touches with Align Reverb. Connecting the Anthem SP directly to an acoustic amp (tested with SR RA 400, Cromacord MXVP, Roland AC 33) or desk is not recommended. The system was compared with Fishman Aura-Onboard and the DPA 4099 condenser mic. The sound is not distorted like with Fishman, and "pure" amplification like with the DPA4099, which also causes feedback problems, cannot be achieved either. The sound is somewhere in between.
