The K2700 is a modern incarnation of the legendary Kurzweil K-Series workstations and continues the tradition. With 256 votes V.A.S.T. polyphony, the K2700 offers 5 times more polyphony than all previous K2 models. With 4.5 GB of factory sound and 3.5 GB of user demonstration memory, it will humble itself with an overview of all its predecessors. Thanks to the synthesis and modifications of V.A.S.T, a 6-operator FM motor, virtual analog synthesis with smoothing oscillators and KB3 tone wheel, the K2700 offers unlimited possibilities of sound design. Exclusive features such as the patented FlashPlay technology, K.S.R. - Kurzweil String Resonance, integrated audio interface, new live audio inputs for unique live performance and master keyboard functions make the K2700 the perfect master controller on stage and in the studio.

The K2700 is the latest addition to the legendary K series. K2000, introduced in 1990, laid the foundation for the series' legendary reputation. For the first time, it was possible to process not only factory ROM samples, but also your own samples with an excellent, unique V.A.S.T synthesis, creating signature key sounds and sound spheres of previously unattainable sound quality and complexity. Countless well-known musicians and bands such as Sting, Pink Floyd, The Who, Billie Joel and many others have relied on the Kurzweil K-Series live on stage and in the studio.

Sehr gute Workstation, wenn man auf großes Touchdisplay verzichten kann. Es lässt sich auch so gut mit den Tasten navigieren, man ist halt mittlerweile größere Displays gewohnt. Positiv: Sounds, besonders E-Pianos und Orchestrales, Orgel gut brauchbar mit Zugriegelfunktion (nur von den Pianos hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet, sind aber trotzdem gut), Effekte, Masterkeyboardfunktionen, Speicherplatz, komplexe Setups, Tastatur Negativ; Windows Treiber der Soundkartenfunktion in Verbindung mit VST Playern oft unbrauchbar, Editor Software na ja, App nur für Apple und dann braucht man einen Adapter für Lightning auf USB..., kein Bluetooth, symmetrische Ausgänge nur als Stereoklinke, kein Vocoder Sind zwar einige negative Punkte, insgesamt aber ein super Gerät mit einem angemessenen Preis.

In terms of price-performance, this is currently the best workstation on the market. With a focus on acoustic instruments (strings/pianos/ensemble), it's right up there. A ROLAND Fantom has more options, but can't compete with the Kurzweil when it comes to natural sounds. The Kurzweil is a tip for all LIVE keyboard players, the sound is powerful and all the important sounds are there. It's not a device that sounds great straight out of the box like a Montage or Kronos, but a workstation with POWER under the hood that takes some getting used to. It's definitely going to be a love/hate relationship :-) It's weird to use, not really good - but the options are much better than the competition in many areas. A bargain for the money! The others cost thousands more!
