Henry's TL-1 The Comet Yellow Relic Electric guitar

TL-1 is a six-string electric guitar from the Czech brand Henry's Music. Premium materials were used to make the instrument, and the guitar is characterized by excellent playing characteristics. It asserts itself with a punchy and strong sound with a characteristic "twang" typical of a telecaster. The length of the scale is 648 mm and the width of the zero fret is 42 mm. Excellent playability is ensured by the Thin "C" profile neck, which sits comfortably in the hand and facilitates access to all fingerboard positions. The guitar presented in "The Comet" Yellow Relic color is decorated with a layer of artificially aged matte varnish.

The very light body of the guitar is made of phoenix wood. The neck construction made of roasted maple and fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets guarantees perfect sustain. Positions on the fingerboard are indicated by white positional dots. Sound pickup is handled by a Henry's vintage SC-T2 pickup at the neck and a Henry's SC-T1 pickup at the bridge. The sound parameters can be controlled with a three-position sensor switch, a volume potentiometer and a tone diaphragm control. Lockable Derulo tuners and all hardware are in chrome. Stable tuning is maintained by a solid Vintage bridge with three saddles and strings threaded through the body.

The Relic series was created for all guitarists who, in addition to sound, are looking for a distinctive and stylish design. A distinctive distinguishing feature is a worn vintage look in the form of an artificially aged paintwork. The guitars of this model series are made of premium materials and are created with the help of professional players of all styles. Henry's Music instruments are popular with musicians of many different musical genres and are used not only when playing live on stage, but also during more demanding studio work and recording.

It has much nicer colors in the photo than in reality. Relic looks nice at first glance, but the surface feels like a piece of glued-on plastic and is uncomfortable under the hands. It doesn't play badly for such a price and has a nice neck, but the overall impression is pretty cheap.

Doporučuju navštívit kamennou prodejnu a nejdřív si to osahat. Chtěl jsem si pořídit i další kousky z téhle série, ale asi vynechám.

As a calf good, as a vintage calf not so good. It plays nice, I feel that good components are used, but the relic. It just feels weird to the touch, like a plastic tablecloth stuck to a guitar. It looks good before you touch it. I recommend visiting a brick-and-mortar store and trying it out first. I wanted to buy other pieces from this series, but I'll probably skip it.
