Sparkling like a precious jewel and powered by a pair of the legendary Seymour Duncan Vintage P90's, the new Pro Series ML3 Traditional Semi-Hollow offers a wide range of sumptuous tonal versatility. Although the P90 pickups, mahogany body and maple top highlight its traditional design, modern features such as the baked maple neck, stainless steel frets, Hipshot locking tuners and glow-in-the-dark side dots ensure it stands up in this modern world.Whether you need a go to workhorse, or just something a bit different, this new ML3 might just be your new instrument of choice.
The ML3 Pro Traditional Semi-Hollow has a great neck profile. It’s comfortable C-Shaped curve, rolled edge fretboard and satin finish gives a smooth sliding grip for easy play. Using roasted wood reduces the guitar’s vulnerability to warping and means it needs minimal adjustment. The stainless steel frets look great on maple and the traditional shape makes this guitar and modern classic.
As Mahogany wood grain is relatively free of voids and pockets, when used in a guitar body it can produce a sumptuous tone. It has a natural reddish hue that somehow seems to boost the warmth of the sound. Chapman’s ML3 Pro Traditional semi-Hollow is made from lightweight mahogany and has a Straight Maple carved top with traditional F-holes. With it’s carved top, ergonomically contoured lower horn and neck transition, this instrument is beautiful to wield, to play and to look at.
With a Seymour Duncan Vintage P90 set, the tonal breadth of the Chapman ML3 Pro Traditional Semi-Hollow is wide and versatile. The dual Alnico 5 pickups deliver a unique tonal character with a powerful midrange and higher output than most single coil pickups.
Single-Coil Single-Coil configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two single-coil pickups. It offers a clear, crisp tone with pronounced highs and low output, making it ideal for clean sounds and styles such as blues, country and pop.
Roasted maple is a wood that has undergone a heat treatment process to increase its hardness, stability and resistance to changes in humidity and temperature. This material provides a clear, well-balanced tone with a fast response time and excellent sustain. Roasted maple also has a darker, caramel tone that gives the guitar an attractive appearance.
The flamed maple fingerboard is appreciated not only for its sound quality, but also for its aesthetic appearance, giving the guitar an elegant and visually striking character. It offers a clear, crisp tone with fast response.
The T-model is a type of electric guitar based on the Fender Telecaster design. It has a distinctive, simple body with a pair of single-coil pickups that offer a clear, crisp, and punchy tone. T-model guitars are known for their versatility and sturdy construction, suitable for a wide variety of musical styles from country to rock.
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
