Revolution 6x6 is a universal "studio headquarters" that can serve as a master clock, a separate AD/DA converter, a dual microphone preamplifier, or a USB-C sound card with 6 In / 6 Out of the highest quality. Precise converter timing and low-noise conversion ensure top-notch, professional studio-level sound. Using the USB OTG connection, you can sample audio from a smartphone, tablet or other USB-C device. You can also send audio from your laptop directly to your mobile device and live stream your performance. You can also sync your other hardware devices via patented Macro-MMC precision timing - all in the highest possible sound quality. With the Revolution 6x6, you also get the latest version of the popular DAW program Presonus Studio One Artist for free.

USB-C sound card
The Revolution 6x6 works as a Class Compilant USB studio quality audio interface. This means that you do not need to install any drivers and devices immediately after connecting to the computer

Two high-end microphone preamplifiers with +48 V option for powering condenser microphones can serve as input - for each channel separately. You can also connect a balanced line signal on TRS 6.3 mm connectors (large jack). After activating the Inst button, an instrument signal from a guitar, bass or other instrument can be fed into the individual inputs.

You can connect monitors to two balanced TRS 6.3 mm outputs (large jack) and control their volume directly from the sound card - the Monitor rotary controller on the front panel. For listening, you can also use two precise headphone preamplifiers with separate volume controls. You can connect external devices using the S/PDIF connection and USB OTG (On-the-go) for mobile devices. The Revolution 6x6 can be powered from the USB-C bus, or you can use the supplied 5V power adapter for superior dynamics and headroom.

Separate AD/DA converter
By holding down the Standalone button, the Revolution 6x6 becomes a stand-alone AD/DA converter that you can use without connecting to a computer or mobile device. Everything is functional – input preamplifiers, S/PDIF In/Out, Word Clock, line outputs and headphone preamplifiers. This is how you can use the Revolution 6x6 in your HiFi setup for a unique listening to music.

Connect your media player via S/PDIF and enjoy professional Hi-Fi listening with top conversion, or add two additional output channels from another audio interface or digital mixer.

tip: Many MPCs, synths and guitar processors also have an S/PDIF output, which will often provide a better sound than using internal converters. Connect the Revolution 6x6 and hear your sounds like never before.

Accurate Word Clock generator
The Macro-MMC (Master Music Clock) in the Revolution 6x6 was developed based on Black Lion Audio's experience in developing and modifying WC generators of top brands. Macro-MMC ensures the highest possible accuracy of all connected transducers. It also allows you to connect external devices via BNC connectors for maximum synchronization and ultra-low jitter. This means that all devices synchronized via Macro-MMC communicate as precisely as possible to minimize phase distortion that would degrade the sonic result of all digital devices and blur all transients (transient phenomena characterizing every detail of the instrument and sound).

Be mobile with USB OTG (On-The-Go)
USB On-The-Go allows the Revolution 6x6 to be connected to Android and Apple mobile devices. It's ideal for live streamers and mobile musicians who record or stream from phones and tablets. Connect two USB devices simultaneously to the Revolution 6x6 and send audio freely between them. Sample from your phone to your laptop, or live stream your iPad performance from your phone, or... The possibilities are endless!
